🚑 Health Clinic launch! 🚑
Just a few months ago, the health clinic in Kalsagri was not fit for purpose. With no reliable running water, a derelict maternity suite and uninhabitable staff quarters - the community asked us to help make it better.
We secured generous funding for this important project, completed a full refurbishment - and the new clinic opened for business last week! Pregnant women were among the first through its doors.
We're so glad to be working with Ghana Health Service to bring essential and life saving healthcare to rural communities. This is new work for us, and we hope to be able to do more of it in the future.

What does our Inclusion Programme look like when there is no regular meeting or emergency happening?
Sometimes, it is simply checking in.
During the week, we spend time visiting disabled children and their families in their everyday routines. Benedict was at home helping with household chores, Edina was on the way to market to sell vegetables. Elsewhere, a mother was busy harvesting beans while Roger was out playing with friends.
These ordinary moments matter.
Regular family visits help our inclusion team stay connected to children and carers beyond organised sessions, understanding how families are getting on, noticing changes and maintaining the relationships that make meaningful, long term support possible
