The most brilliant week at ATE, delivering wonderful work across Lawra and Nandom, and putting plans in place for so much more! From teaching the next generation to code to cooking eggs for our 1100 children as they finish their school year. Our work brings us joy every day.
And to top it all off, our wonderful supporter base have come through with funding for ALL of the girls in Gombile to go to school in September. Donations that will completely change lives.
We love our work, we love everyone who helps make it happen.

Impactful project
Can you help us give these girls a chance?
Blessing, Nancy and their 13 friends have just finished junior high school in the remote village of Gombile – and we would desperately like to support them to go on to Senior High School.
If they don’t go, they could end up migrating south and working in illegal mines – or staying at home, where they could become pregnant or married while still teenagers. The thought of it fills us with dread.
But if we can keep them in school, they can be safe, educated and become independent, self-sufficient young women. If we don’t raise the funds needed by August, it will be too late for them.
It costs £700 to change the trajectory of a girl’s life, and provide everything she needs for her three years at senior high school. Please get in touch with us ASAP if you’d like to help – you could make a one-off donation of £700 or a set up a monthly payment of £20 for three years. We’d be delighted with either!

What a year! 2025 was truly a year of switching on hope. Across Lawra and Nandom, through a million small but thoughtful acts - a school lunch, a book, a wheelchair, a bag of fertiliser, an IT session, a business grant - we are enabling people to change their lives, to support their families and uplift their communities.
In the hardest of places, we are making miracles happen.
Thank you to everyone who made 2025 our best year ever. We couldn't have done it without you.
