Action Through Enterprise (ATE) is excited to open applications for the next cohort of female apprentices. Through our VocATE Apprenticeship Programme, we support motivated young women to gain practical vocational skills, develop confidence and work towards sustainable employment or self-employment.
Whether you dream of starting your own business or building a career in a skilled trade, this programme can help you take the next step.
Successful applicants will receive:
✅ Support to undertake a recognised apprenticeship with an experienced trainer
✅ Regular mentoring and welfare support throughout the programme
✅ Business, IT and life skills training
✅ Opportunities to build confidence, independence and financial security
✅ Ongoing support to help you complete your training successfully
Who can apply?
We are looking for young women who:
• Live in Lawra Municipality or Nandom Municipality
• Are committed to learning a vocational trade
• Are motivated to complete their apprenticeship and build a better future
• Are willing to participate fully in the programme
We particularly encourage applications from young women facing financial hardship and those who may otherwise be unable to access vocational training.
