We’ve always known that we deliver transformational change in Upper West Ghana on a very modest budget – and we’re delighted that the House of Common’s International Development Select Committee Inquiry on Value for Money has invited us to share our thoughts.

At this critical time for international development funding, we welcome this opportunity. We’re keen to shout about our unique Hub Model – holistic, locally-led and community-focused, the model strengthens individuals, families, women, communities and our own growing team. These combine to create a virtuous circle that amplifies our impact and underpins our growth – making it cost effective, long-lasting and sustainable. And we’re proving it every day as we continue our roll-out across a new district in one of Ghana’s poorest and most vulnerable regions.

As the smallest NGO to offer written evidence, we are so proud to be asked to continue the conversation with members of the Committee, raising a voice in the Commons for the people of Lawra, Nandom and beyond.

You can read our written evidence here.

We’d love hear what you think. And you can watch our Chief Executive Sarah Annable-Gardner, give evidence at 2:15pm on Tuesday 25th March on the Parliament Live website.
