It’s a huge thank you to Tim Eliot-Cohen for organising the Hilldrop Charity Clay Shoot and Festival on May 25th, which saw over a thousand people gather in the sunny, windy Wiltshire countryside to have fun – and raise vital funds for Action Through Enterprise.

We were delighted to welcome people to our stall and share our story – and it was wonderful to see so many children colouring their own Ghanaian flag. The connection between Ramsbury in Wiltshire and Lawra and Nandom in Upper West Ghana is truly inspiring.

We cannot thank Tim enough for everything he has put into making this event a massive success. He has taken a year away from his job as MD of Close Brothers Asset Management to organise it, and we are so moved that he chose us as his main beneficiary, alongside many local charities.

He travelled to Ghana last September, to find out more about our transformational work, and the beautiful film he made with Asif Noorani and Graham Tilley premièred at the Hilldrop event to huge acclaim.

ATE Chief Executive Sarah Annable-Gardner said: “We are beyond grateful to everyone who has made this possible: Tim and the Hilldrop team, sponsors, donors of auction prizes and of course all the amazing guests who gave so, so generously. The money raised will literally transform whole communities, and the impact will be felt for years to come. Thank you!”
