Following a talk from Sarah Gardner to the children and teachers at Farleigh School, some inspired children have carried out some fantastic fundraising to support ATE’s work in Ghana.
Here’s an extract from their newsletter:
‘Congratulations to Skye Dowling, Tilly Greener, Poppy Keith, Jemima Scott, Alice van Moppes and Rose Weaver from Year 6 who baked 100 cakes each and raised a fantastic £331.23 at their cake sale last week. Kate Talbot Rice also raised an impressive £65 by baking cakes and selling them outside her home. All proceeds will go to Action Through Enterprise (ATE) which provides free school meals, support for small businesses and care for children living with a disability in the poorest parts of Ghana.’
Thank you so much to all of the children and teachers involved.
