A team from ATE attended the Aldbourne Community Spring market last Sunday, armed with brochures, information about ATE’s work, stories from recent trips to Ghana, and items to sell from some of our small business owners. As well as this, ATE was selling honey on behalf of Mark Rees from the Ramsbury Honey Company.
The market, which encourages local businesses and groups to present their goods and crafts to the public, was a fantastic opportunity for ATE to connect with people from the local community.
Luke, who organised ATE’s stall, commented on the event – “It was great to attend this fantastic community event, raising vital funds for our and sharing information about our projects in Ghana to many people who attended. The Aldbourne Community Market is always a well attended event, and we are very appreciative of the people who donate their time to organise this event each year”.
Through attending this event, we handed out over 100 brochures detailing ATE’s work, raised £123, as well as selling some tickets to the eagerly anticipated ATE film premiere.
