ATE is a young, dynamic, non-governmental organisation making significant impact to reduce poverty and improve lives in Lawra Municipal, Upper West Region, Ghana. We are looking for two capable, enthusiastic and hardworking people to join our team as an ATE Hub Manager and an ATE Hub Assistant. The salaries for these roles are 1000 GH₵ per month for a Hub Manager, and 450 GH₵ for a Hub Assistant.
The successful Hub Manager candidate will have responsibility for implementation of ATE programmes in one of our Hubs of Development – a rural area which serves a number of communities. Part of this work will involve monitoring of a school feeding program at a Junior High School, training and mentoring small business owners, and managing relationships with key community stakeholders. The Hub Assistant role is an interesting and varied entry level position providing support to our Hub Managers across a range of projects and rural areas. For the right candidates, both these roles could grow in responsibility and be a fantastic career opportunity.
The successful candidates will be multi-skilled, proficient in administration, digital skills, a confident motorbike driver, excellent communicator and relationship builder. These roles are perfect for someone keen to make a difference and work with an impactful NGO, whilst developing their experience of projects that enable access to education, small business development, and support for disabled children and families, across Lawra Municipal.
Both roles are full-time and based in Lawra Municipal. The successful candidates will need to have a current motorbike licence and access to a motorbike to regularly travel into rural communities. They will be flexible, adaptable, and able to communicate confidently in both Dagaare and English. We particularly welcome and encourage applications from women for these roles.
