ATE is a young, dynamic charity which is making a significant impact in Upper West Ghana. We are looking for a passionate, well-organised, fluent Dagaree speaker to become ATE’s SNAP Project Leader.

This brand new position will drive ATE’s SNAP program forward in 2018 and beyond. Responsibilities will include managing the SNAP Parent Committee, coordinating monthly SNAP group meetings in Lawra and Dowine, community outreach work, and advocating for the rights and needs of disabled children and their families. The SNAP Project Leader will also be responsible for developing an running the new purpose-built SNAP Centre and the development of resources and activities for child-centred, sensory play. The right candidate will need to have great sensitivity, integrity, and drive in handling individual case work to support disabled children in to school, to access specialist medical support, and to enjoy their rights free from discrimination.

The role will be based in Lawra at the ATE SNAP Centre with frequent travel to rural areas. The role is full time, including some work at weekends, with a competitive salary. You will need to have a valid motorbike licence and your own motorbike.
