Having encountered some challenges in early 2019, ATE is in a time of transition.

As a result, we are planning a significant enhancement of our team in country, to provide a more effective outreach.

Since ATE’s birth in 2012, we have been moving gradually from a very small organisation dependant on a few key individuals, to a charity with greater resilience, capacity and potential for growth. These changes are vital and exciting, and will enable us to be more efficient and effective – and to ultimately help more people in Lawra

The strategies, agreed by trustees on 7th April, will enable ATE to implement changes to recruit additional staff, strengthen the skill set of the management team and prepare for sustainable long-term growth. Supporters can be confident that the charity will continue to operate very effectively and is preparing to further improve its outreach and impact in Upper West Ghana

As part of the next phase of development, we are currently recruiting for an Interim Director of Operations to help us implement a change plan.
